Last semester I did not make it past Week 1. “Life got in the way” a little bit, but I will try again.

My name is Diane and I am a Spanish teacher. I haven’t taught online yet, but there is a strong online element to my course (virtual textbook, exercises and some assignments).

One personal obstacle I have made steps in the last two months to overcome is to update my technology. I bought a new (touch screen) laptop, a tablet and a smartphone. I was feeling a little “behind” but I hadn’t been ready financially. A small-scale digital divide.

I really want to learn how to make videos with Camtasia and things like that.
