Introduction
Salve, mi amici!
My name is Bryce and I am a third year student at MiraCosta College. I squandered much of my time when I was younger and now hope to make the most of what I have available; hence why I am taking History 101 for Honors. To me, History is tremendously interesting from a hobbyist’s perspective; as a discipline, it sends me to fits of panic and existential desperation. So, that being said, I am becoming a Classics major! I also hope, at some point, to obtain a secondary degree, if, after my undergraduate years, I have not had enough pain for one lifetime. My extracurricular activities consist of reading, weightlifting, surfing, art speculating and cooking. I attend music venues on occasion, and the next show I’ll be attending is Jeff Rosenstock at the Irenic in North Park.
I look forward to developing my course thesis and my understanding of the areas where I hope to become more specialized, while attuning my mind to more universal perspectives.
Thank you,
Bryce Clark

Classics is a wonderful major! But as I recall, there is plenty of existential desperation in Homer. 😉
