Today was the first day of school for most of the children in Room 2.  We enjoyed the outside Art Studio and feeding our pet rabbit “Bun, Bun”.  We view the outdoor as an extension to our classroom enviroment.  Not only are children able to develop large motor skills such as running, jumping and climbing, they are also given the oppourtunity to engage in quiet activities such as reading, working on a puzzle or quielty observing nature.
