Diigo!
This is a great tool for annotating webpages. This would work great for me both personally and professionally.
I have pages and pages full of bookmarks and I constantly refer back to them and can’t remember why I bookmarked them. To be able to make myself a sticky note to remember why is fantastic!
Academically speaking, it would be great to assign students a web page to go to and have little sticky notes placed in strategic places that would allow me to point out certain things to students.
Do students have to have Diigo accounts in order to see my notes? Or can I share a special url with them?

I don’t like this. I find it cumbersome and confusing…. just sayin!

I agree – NOT a fan of Second Life & I don’t think students would be all that interested in it either.
