Hello, everyone!

My name is Laura Paciorek and I am the cohort contact for individuals in POTCert who also work at MiraCosta College.  I am excited to be a part of it again this year.  You can reach me through email at lpaciorek@miracosta.edu.

I earned my certificate with the first cohort of POTCert years ago and couldn’t stay away.  Now I continue to learn through all of the people who enroll in POTCert and participate each year.

I hope that your semester is off to a great start.  My online class began today!  It’s a new prep for me, so I am trying some new things since I feel like I got to begin with a blank slate.  I can’t wait to see how they go with the students.

Have a great first week, everyone.  I can’t wait to get to know you more!  Here’s a photo of me showing how proud I am to work at MiraCosta College.  I post this for my students and use it as my avatar photo in my courses.  I always hope that it creates a more personal feel for students to see me in a MiraCosta College tee shirt (it’s what I wear to work a lot at the Child Development Center, too!).
