WEEK 23 – POTCERT – PRESENTATION

Hello All You Hard Working POTCERT Folk,

What a great experience to create a Prezi about Learning Theories.  When we did the work for the week 19 discussion about Learning Theories I commented to my honey how this was a subject I knew very little about and was glad for the week’s work.  Then I was last signing up for presentations and I was to explain this very subject.  This really turned into a full week of exploring Youtube videos for information, reading all the articles attached to the prior presentation, and watching again the video by Claire.  A wonderful learning experience for me.  Since I did not have anything new to add to the subject I decided to create a Prezi using what I felt were some of the shorter and more engaging videos to instruct in this very important subject of Learning Theories and Online Learning.

I had a wonderful time creating my first Prezi with Audacity audio.  I also added some background music.  The entire process allowed me one more opportunity to work with some technology tools and expand my base of knowledge.  Also, watching the many videos I perused lead me to think in more depth about my teaching style and how to engage students in a more connective and collaborative approach.  I really am glad I had the opportunity to learn more about Learning Theories and Learning Philosophies.
