WEEK 9 – POTCERT CATCHING UP

Watching all the wonderful videos, reading the text, working with Diigo and Second Life.  Really happy to find out about Diigo so I can use my bookmarks at any site now.  I downloaded all my bookmarks in one quick move.  I spent some time in Second Life but it was time consuming and not something I think I would use with my students.  Using all of these technology tools sure is giving me a better idea of why my son can spend months on the internet and never get bored.  Not so good for his job prospects and education pursuits.  He will spend hours telling me about the characters he has created when what I want to talk about is his homework.  I am finding information for my class readily available on Youtube.  My question would be since we have to have everything captioned, can I just use the captioning available with MiraCosta, or should I use an outside source?  I know we have been introduced to outside captioning, but what is the easiest source?
