Medical Billing & Coding

WEEK 3 – POT CERT

WOW!!!  I finally had an opportunity to jump back into the POT work.  Life can get full and so off the roller coaster and onto my educational goals.  I finally upgraded my blog to include a link.  I have linked to Rushton’s Resourses.  I have listed the site as Powerful & Free Tools for Teachers & Students.  This site is presented by Rushton Hurley.  I attended a seminar on innovative teaching techniques for medical professional instructors last semester.  There is tons of great information.  I teach medical terminology, medical billing and medical coding.  I have a Blackboard site for the billing and coding classes and will be upgrading those sites along with this blog site.  My goals are to create an interactive site so students have discussions about the subject and to introduce sites for coding assistance.

I will now get onto WEEK 4 and, hopefully, get caught up this week.  I will be spending most of the rest of this day viewing the wonderful online class tours.

After completing this blog I noted that I had made some mistakes.  Like, I had not added the link to the blog.  She here it is.

I too feel like I’m always struggling to keep up. My day job (teaching upgrading and adult literacy) always overflows into my evenings. I love it, but I often only am able to pay superficial attention to POT until the weekend. I don’t know when I’ll have time to put all I’m learning here to use, and get my Moodle muddle cleaned up.
